How much is my investment?
The price of apartments start from NZ$157,000 and includes furniture package and carpark. The apartment price is zero rated for GST as a going concern.



What facilities are there?
Apartments are fully self contained with bathrooms, laundries and kitchens. 68@Ponsonby also accommodates a cafe, commercial space and retail outlet



Can I stay in my suite?
All investors are entitled to ten days accommodation per annum (subject to availability of the apartment). They may also be assigned to your family or friends. A small minimal service charge applies.



What outgoings are payable on my investment?
The annual outgoings will include Body Corporate fees and Auckland City Council rates.



Can I inspect my apartment?
Yes, any time as long as prior notice is provided to Quest. Important Purchasing Information.



Who maintains my apartment?
The management company is responsible under the lease to maintain your apartment. Quest is responsible for all non-structural maintenance, including any replacement or repairs to the furniture.


Can I sell my investment at any time?
Yes, you are free to sell your investment at any time, just as you can do with any property.



Has Quest ever not taken up its option to release?
No.

How long does the lease run?
The lease runs for a potential 20 years (10 years with 2 x 5 year options) from commencement date (practical completion). The management company will be responsible for leasing, advertising and the maintenance of your investment.



What am I purchasing?
You are purchasing a freehold investment apartment.



What is the difference between a lease and a rent guarantee?
The value of a lease is determined by the market rent for your apartment in the open market. A rent guarantee can be set at any level, often leading to inflated levels of income and value.



How often do I receive rent payments?
The rental is payable each calendar month in advance by automatic payment to your bank account.



Who is responsible for paying my return?

A franchisee of the Quest Apartment Group, Australiasia ’s largest serviced apartment operation, is responsible for paying your rental.


How many types of apartments are there?
There is a selection of studios, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments available.
