From day one it was clear that the Forté's site had many advantages - location, views and a pleasantly sunny orientation. With our design, each one of these advantages has been maximised. Forté is to be built on an elevated site at the city end of Symonds Street, which runs along the desirable eastern ridge of the Auckland CBD. It is situated beside AUT and the University of Auckland. There are protected views to the north and the east. Our northern neighbour is a low rise building leased to AUT for the next 21 years. Across the road to the northeast is the historic, protected St Paul’s Church. Queen Street is a five minute walk away.
